Snaptics Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Snaptics handles screenshot and image data. The core principle is simple: screenshots are private, and the app is designed to keep core processing local on the user's device.
1. What Snaptics does
Snaptics is a local-first screenshot workspace. It helps users import, index, search, organize, annotate, pin, and clean up screenshots or selected images on their own device.
2. Information stored in the app
Snaptics may store imported image copies, screenshot records, OCR text, QR and barcode payloads, source URLs shared by the operating system or another app, tags, notes, cleaner decisions, widget pins, overlay marks, local diagnostics, and local usage counters.
3. Local-first processing
Core OCR, barcode scanning, search, action parsing, cleaner grouping, widgets, overlays, tags, notes, and local diagnostics are designed to run on the user's device. Snaptics does not upload screenshots, OCR text, source URLs, filenames, thumbnails, image hashes, notes, tags, or Wi-Fi data to Evyx AI servers for these core features.
4. Photo and image access
Manual import uses platform image pickers where available. Screenshot-library indexing may require photo-library permission so Snaptics can find and index screenshots for local search and cleanup. Users can manage photo permissions in device settings.
5. Share imports and source URLs
When users share images, web pages, or text into Snaptics, the app may save the shared image and source metadata locally so users can return to the original page when the platform provides that information.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Snaptics Pro subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. Evyx AI does not receive or store payment card numbers. The app may receive subscription status information from the store so it can unlock paid features.
7. Local data controls
Users can clear Snaptics app records, imported copies, widget pins, overlays, tags, notes, cleaner history, diagnostics, and usage counters from inside the app. Clearing Snaptics app data does not automatically delete original screenshots from the user's photo library unless the user confirms a platform deletion flow.
8. Device security and backups
Snaptics relies on operating system protections such as app sandboxing, device encryption, and device permissions. Users are responsible for protecting their device passcode, biometric access, backups, and shared device access.
9. Children
Snaptics is not intended for children. Users should only store or process screenshots and images they are legally allowed to manage.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy as Snaptics evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date or publishing a new version of this policy.
This policy is app-specific for Snaptics. If Evyx AI later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or server-side processing, this policy should be updated before those features are released.
